The Hyannis Port home was bought when Swift was dating Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert F Kennedy Jr and it faces Nantucket Sound and is across the street from the Kennedy family compound.

The property was listed for $14.5 million in April 2025 and went under agreement in June, just weeks after hitting the market. The final sale price was not known when the initial reports announced that a buyer had been found.The sale later closed at $12.3 million, as per Boston.com report. That was $2.2 million below the original asking price.
How Much Did Taylor Swift Make From Selling the House
Swift bought the home for $4.8 million in November 2012 and sold it for $5.675 million in February 2013. The difference between the two prices was $875,000.That figure reflects the increase between the purchase and sale prices, not necessarily Swift’s net profit after ownership and transaction expenses.
Her ownership was brief. She purchased the house while dating Kennedy and sold it a few months later.

Located in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, the home was built in 1928 and sits on approximately 1.1 acres. As per Boston.com report, the property has more than 5000 square feet of living space and eight bedrooms.It overlooks Nantucket Sound and includes 200 feet of private beach and its New England-style features include whitewashed walls, pitched ceilings and sash windows.
What Changed After Taylor Swift Sold the House
The owners who bought the property from Swift undertook a major renovation, rebuilding much of the home but retaining some of its 1920s design.Other updates included a rebuilt seawall, a swimming pool beside the water and improvements to the home’s interior and exterior.
The property returned to the market in April 2025 for $14.5 million before selling for $12.3 million in July. The completed transaction marked another change in the history of Swift’s former Cape Cod home.
