Savannah Chrisley is expecting her first baby: Will the Chrisley Knows Best star trade her condo plans for a family home?

Savannah Chrisley had been planning to leave her parents’ Nashville home for a condo as she said she was ready to move on from the responsibilities of maintaining a large house. Now the 29 year old reality TV star is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Jason.

Chrisley announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Tuesday. Although the news marks a major change in her personal life, she hasn't publicly announced any change to her earlier housing plans or said that she plans to buy a larger home.

Savannah Chrisley Was Ready for a Home of Her Own

Chrisley spent about two years living in her parents’ Nashville home while Todd and Julie Chrisley were incarcerated, as per a Realtor.com report. During that time, she cared for her younger brother, Grayson, and her niece, Chloe, while working to secure her parents’ release.


In an episode of The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup, which aired on Hulu on June 29 last year, she spoke about her plans to move.

She said, "That's what I keep saying, 'I'm moving into a condo,'" adding, "I'm not going to miss landscapers, I'm not going to miss pool people," as quoted by Realtor.com.

When asked whether she would miss living in a house, Chrisley said she would not miss dealing with landscapers and pool maintenance. She also explained that she had been raising her brother and niece during her parents’ absence.

A Baby on the Way for Savannah and Jason

In her Instagram announcement, Chrisley shared how much she had hoped to become a mother as she wrote, “I’ve prayed for this life. I’ve cried for this life. And there were moments I truly wondered if this life would ever be mine. And just when I thought my heart couldn’t hold any more love, God gave us our sweetest blessing yet… we’re having a BABY!"

She described the baby as their “sweetest blessing yet” and reflected on the heartbreak and uncertainty she had experienced in recent years. She also praised Jason for supporting her and said he had attended every doctor’s appointment.

Chrisley had previously kept her fiancé’s identity private. She discussed their relationship on her podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, where she shared details about their romance & engagement.

How They Fell in Love

Chrisley said she and Jason began dating in July 2025. He proposed five months later during a trip to the Cayman Islands.

She described the relationship as a “dream relationship” and expressed excitement about her engagement ring. She also spoke about their significant age difference, saying she would prefer 20 phenomenal years with someone over 50 years that were merely average.

A Look at the Chrisley Family’s Nashville Homes

The family’s real estate history includes a Brentwood, Tennessee, mansion that Julie Chrisley purchased for $3.4 million in 2019. She listed it for $4.75 million two months later. But the property struggled to sell and was taken off the market about a year later.

The family had previously moved from a Belle Meade home after experiencing unwanted attention from tourists. The property was purchased for $1.6 million in 2016 and ownership was transferred to Savannah in 2020. Realtor.com reported that Todd and Julie were living there after their release.

Will a Baby Change Savannah’s Plans to Move

However, Chrisley’s pregnancy announcement doesn't reveal whether she will proceed with her earlier plan to move into a condo or choose another type of home. Her most recent publicly reported comments about her housing intentions remain the ones she made on The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup in June 2025.
