The purchase price of the house was $8.5 million in June 2018. The property was initially listed for nearly $10 million, in May 2020, after her separation from Brandon Blackstock. This home is located in one of Los Angeles’ preferred residential areas. It is spread in 9,839 square feet covered area. This house comes with eight bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, a living area, a home movie theater, wine cellar, fitness center, and an entertainment backyard. The property has been bought by the television executive Jeff Gaspin.

Why was farmhouse put up for sale?

Clarkson and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, bought this home and moved in 2018. Right after his divorce, the house was put up for sale and, in May 2020, it was formally announced that the house was available for purchase. The asking price of the property was set at $9.995 million, close to $10 million, but it did not attract any buyers. So, the asking price was reduced to $9.5 million. Another reduction brought the asking price to just under $9 million.

The reduction of asking price continued until September 2021 when the house was sold for $8.24 million. The real estate agents involved in the sale were Craig Knizek of The Agency and his colleague Chris Corkum and Lisa Brende of Compass, representing the buyer.
