The house is located in the Bird Streets neighborhood of Los Angeles. It covers 4,689 square feet and sits on a 0.35-acre lot. The property has four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Parton and Dean bought the home in 1985 for $750,000. They owned it for five years before selling it in 1990 for $1.2 million, according to property records and listing information. The current listing brings the property back into the celebrity real estate market after a long gap. According to the listing, this is the first time in 25 years that the house has been offered for sale.

A Los Angeles property with city and ocean views

The home is designed around views of Los Angeles. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the living and dining areas look toward Downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. Listing information says the residence is also difficult to see from the street. Edward Tinney of Nourmand & Associates described the house as being concealed behind a garage. The listing is held by Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency and Edward Tinney of Nourmand & Associates.
