Buffalo Bills wide receiver DJ Moore drops asking price of waterfront North Carolina mansion to $5 million

DJ Moore has reduced the asking price of his waterfront mansion in North Carolina to $5 million. It is the exact amount Buffalo Bills wide receiver paid for the property in 2022, a Mansion Global report said. The home is situated in the outskirts of Charlotte on Lake Wylie. It is directly across the water from South Carolina. The mansion was completed in 2020. The property is spread in 9,673 square feet living space. It is built in nearly 4 acres. It also has about 340 feet of Lake Wylie shoreline. The house is located in a gated community.

The property has around 5 to 6 bedrooms, 6.5 to 7 bathrooms, a home theater, a gym or wellness room, a heated saltwater pool and an outdoor kitchen. It also has 12-foot ceilings, a primary suite with a dual-entry rain shower and a screened-in porch to enjoy the view of the lake. It also has an access to a sandy beach.


The main living area has French oak floors, a linear gas fireplace and glass walls overlooking the wooded grounds and lake. The kitchen has a six-burner Wolf range, custom refrigeration, two dishwashers, a pellet ice maker and a separate scullery with a built-in coffee system. The property has space for parking five vehicles. It has an attached two-car garage, a detached garage for two more cars and a basement golf-cart garage, a Wealth of Geeks report said. There is also an unfinished space above the detached garage. It can be used for a guest suite, office or studio, as per the listing.

The price has been reduced to the original ask of $5 million. The waterfront mansion has on the market for over two years. NFL player bought the waterfront Charlotte estate for $5 million in June 2022. The mansion is a part of the gated community Sanctuary at Lake Wylie. The community has a shared pool, tennis court, fitness center, playground and kayak storage. The properties located at the Sanctuary are usually spread between two and 13 acres, as per their website.

The veteran receiver bought the Charlotte estate during his fifth season with the Carolina Panthers. He was traded to the Chicago Bears in 2023. He played in the team till 2025. He was subsequently acquired by the Buffalo Bills in March 2026.

He initially listed the home in 2024 for $5 million. The mansion returned to market earlier this summer. Lina Nixon of Selling Queen City Realty listed the property. The five-bedroom waterfront estate outside Charlotte back was placed on the market for a slightly higher price of $5.25 million on July 31, as per TMZ. The asking price was $225,000 more than the $5 million the wide receiver paid for the property in 2022. Now, the property has returned to its original $5 million price tag after failing to find a buyer for around two years.

Moore has three children with his wife Raven Moore. He also owned another home in Charlotte earlier. Moore purchased the house in Charlotte after joining the Panthers in 2018. He sold the four-bedroom property for $1.4 million in 2023, as per Chicago Tribune and the property records.

The wide receiver was traded yet again to the Bills Last March. He will play under the head coach Joe Brady. The coach was the offensive coordinator for Panthers during Moore’s best seasons.
