BOBCARD, a fully owned subsidiary of Bank of Baroda, has partnered with RuPay to introduce an EMI service for UPI Payments. This new feature allows RuPay BOBCARD holders to conveniently convert their purchases into EMIs by simply scanning a QR code using the UPI app. This makes payments easier and more streamlined for cardholders.

Customers can directly apply for the EMI facility on their linked RuPay credit card through any UPI app. By accepting the applicable terms and conditions and using their UPI PIN, users grant permission. When shopping, users can choose their preferred EMI term by selecting the EMI option at checkout. This feature allows users to spread the cost of expensive holiday items over reasonable installments. This hassle-free approach is entirely digital and doesn't involve any extra paperwork.
