Bank holidays in February 2022: Get the full list here

If you have bank-related duties to complete in February, knowing when the banks will be closed is crucial. There are a total of 12 bank holidays in February, according to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) list. However, not all states will be eligible for holidays. Other than national holidays, bank holidays are also determined by state governments, there are a few state-specific holidays when banks are closed.

For instance, on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, banks in Maharashtra will be closed on February 19, Saturday.

In Uttar Pradesh, it is a bank holiday on February 15 (Tuesday) due to the Birthday of Md. Hazrat Ali/Lui-Ngai-Ni. In Tripura, it is a bank holiday on February 5 (Saturday) due to Saraswati Puja.


Banks also remain shut on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
