HDFC customers can now reach out on WhatsApp for service assistance for their loans or to request a call back for a new loan.

How to connect with HDFC Home Loans on WhatsApp
Step 1: Visit link https://portal.hdfc.com/whatsapp/register-account
Step 2: Enter your home loan account number and Date of Birth

Step 3: Click Submit to avail services

According to an HDFC tweet last year, “HDFC Home Loans is now on WhatsApp! Get your Home Loan queries answered 24x7. To start chatting with us on WhatsApp click on: https://bit.ly/3uqdAQb”

Services that can be availed
The Customer understands that the messages which may be exchanged between the Customer and HDFC on the WhatsApp platform shall pertain to the following identified categories:

a) Loan Account details (i.e., Loan amount, current rate of interest, balance tenure of the loan and current dues);
b) Provisional income tax certificates;
c) Final certificate of interest for the two years preceding the request;
d) Account statement for current year;
e) Account statement for two years preceding the request.
f) all products being offered by HDFC;
g) Any important communication and/ or awareness messages;
h) Any information about and / or offers from our group companies.

In May, HDFC announced the debut of 'Spot Offer' via WhatsApp, which will provide home buyers with an in-principle home loan approval within 2 minutes.

The 'Spot Offer on WhatsApp' platform from HDFC allows prospective borrowers to receive an in-principle home loan approval instantaneously.
