There are very few festivals in the month of June and most of the banks across states are open throughout the month except on second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. Banks across the country follow the gazetted holidays. On public holidays, all banks are closed, and certain holidays differ by state

Here is the list of bank holidays in June 2022

• June 2, Maharana Pratap Jayanti: Banks are closed in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh
• June 15, Y.M.A. Day/Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday/Raja Sankranti: Aizawl, Misoram and Bhubaneswar, Orissa and Jammu and Srinagar.

The holidays have been designated by the RBI as follows: Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act; Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and Banks' Closing of Accounts
