SBI Card and Apollo Healthcare launch co-branded card offering access to healthcare services
Card-holders will get OneApollo membership in which customers can access a variety of healthcare services and benefits at any Apollo health centres.

Mumbai: SBI Cards and Apollo Healthcare has launched a co-branded credit card which would enable customers avail various benefits such as discounted health-check-ups and complimentary consultations.
The card-holders will also get OneApollo membership in which customers can access a variety of healthcare services and benefits at any Apollo health centres said Shobana Kamineni, executive vice chairperson of Apollo Hospitals.
“This partnership will help drive growth for SBI cards while offering Indian consumers an exceptional payment product to maximise value on health and wellness spend,” said Rajnish Kumar, Chairman, SBI. The SBI has a 74% stake in SBI cards and are their major promoters.
Earlier this year SBI Cards had announced their plans to increase their portfolio by introducing new products in the market including co-branded cards.
“In our portfolio, we have observed health and wellness spends have been growing 30% YOY over the last few years. India has one of the youngest populations in the world today. As the population ages, demand for healthcare is set to rise further,” said Hardayal Prasad, MD and CEO, SBI Cards adding that India’s healthcare industry is expected to become a $300 billion industry by 2020.
Other features of the card include 10% discount and savings on pharmacy products, redeemable reward points on purchase at Apollo entities and also at other entertainment centres, and EMI scheme for health insurance co-pay amount.
