9.75% FD interest rate: This bank hikes fixed deposit rates by up to 50 bps, now offers 'highest' FD rate in India

North East Small Finance Bank (NESFB) has increased its fixed deposit (FD) interest rate by 50 basis points. After the hike, the bank is offering rates as high as 9.25% for the general public and 9.75% for seniors. According to the bank press release, NESFB has increased the interest rate on FD products from 9.25% to 9.75%.

North East Small Finance Bank: Latest FD rates

North East Small Finance Banks (NESFB) is offering the highest interest rate of 9.75% for senior citizens on non-callable deposits between Rs 1 crore and Rs 5 crore for a tenure of 546 - 1111 Days. For callable deposits, the bank offers 9.50% on the same tenure.

For general citizens, the bank offers the highest interest rate of 9.25% on non-callable deposits for amounts between 1 core to 5 crore. On callable deposits, the bank offers the highest interest rate of 9% to general citizens for amounts up to Rs 5 crore.
