Almost every second employee in India is concerned about his or her current financial status, a survey by Willis Towers Watson has found. Other key findings:

52% of respondents feel financial problems are making them less effective at work

35% of respondents claim money issues are affecting their lives

57% of employees want their employer to encourage them to save for retirement, but 32% was not comfortable receiving guidance from employers on these matters

56% fear they will have a less comfortable retirement than their parents

54% worry about their financial future
