Paramount Plus officially renewed "Star Trek: Lower Decks" for a fifth season in March 2023, as per reports.

Actor Steve Carell co-created the series alongside 'The Office' creator Greg Daniels.

The drama is written and executive produced by 'Narcos' and 'Narcos: Mexico' showrunner Eric Newman.
