BJP candidate Chander Singh Sisodia won the bypoll by defeating Congress' Subhash Kumar Sojatia with a margin of 12,945 votes.

The Congress has tried to corner ruling BJP by targeting CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in one of the biggest admission-cum-recruitment scam.
