The Virudhunagar Congress MP has demanded a probe into the massive fire in a cracker manufacturing unit in Sivakasi that claimed 39 lives.

Seven persons were arrested today in connection with the massive fire at a cracker manufacturing unit near here that claimed 39 lives.

As many as 39 persons were killed and 49 injured when fire broke out in a private cracker factory in Sivakasi yesterday.
