Swedish furniture retail giant IKEA has started hiring in India as it gears up to open its first store in the country by 2017.

The Institute of Military Law, based at Kamptee and one of its kind in whole of Asia, celebrated its 25th Raising Day on May 16.

At present, Ikea has 48 suppliers in India with 45,000 direct employees and about 400,000 people in its extended supply chain.
