The Cabinet approved $1.5 billion (about Rs 9,000 crore) World Bank support for the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) in rural areas.

The campaign, which has roped in celebrities, politicians and business tycoonsto propagate the message,aims to cover 4,041 towns by 2019.
