The Centre today decided to cancel one more coal block, which had been given to Corporate Ispat Alloys Ltd.

The move comes in the wake of the panel on coal blocks, reviewing the progress of development of 61 coal blocks.

"Coal mines were given to companies that committed the much-needed investment in the sectors of power, steel and cement," Jajodia said.
