Pratyusha's boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, a TV producer, was booked for abetment of suicide and criminal intimation, among other charges.

Singh's lawyer Neeraj Gupta has withdrawn from the case, stating that he has done so on humanitarian grounds.

A case of abetment of suicide has been filed against Rahul, who is in hospital, and likely to be arrested after his discharge.
