Incessant rain in the past couple of days has flooded two districts of Arunachal Pradesh, disrupting normal life and surface communication.

The rise in water level of Lohit river has also led to closure of Alubari Ghat in the district.

The flood situation in Arunachal Pradesh was today grim with reports of fresh areas being inundated by flood waters in several districts.

The swollen Noa-Dehing river breached the anti-erosion protection wall built by the Water Resources department during last year .
