Netflix's head of global films said they are looking forward to showcase "impactful" stories in collaboration with Lopez.

Last month, the studio had decided to take the film off from its release calendar.

The movie was originally scheduled to debut in theatres across the globe from March 26.

The film is based on the eponymous book by Diane Ackerman.
