BookMyCharters, which has signed up 16 charter operators, was launched in December by Rajeev Wadhwa of Mumbai-based Baron Aviation.

A group of Indian entrepreneurs, with some funding from UAE, have launched an online portal for booking charters.

Droom will also introduce charter and fun rides on planes, a service it hopes to eventually extend to cars and motorcycles.
