Rehabilitation Commissioner Khapa Kholie and Director Y W Ringu, Arunachal Pradesh State Transport GM Abo Tayeng also accompanied the team.

The two winning candidates - Karya Bagang and Gum Tayeng are from the ruling Congress. Both won the seats for the second term.

The state has 3,77,272 women electorate against 3,75,898 males, with several Assembly constituencies having more women voters than males.
