The S&P BSE Sensex broke below the 28,000 level as the 30-pack index slipped over 150 points in trade today, shrugging of positive cues.

The aggregate revenues of the Sensex companies are estimated to decline by 4.7% whereas their aggregate net profit is likely to remain flat.
