Paytm Payments Services Limited (PPSL) has received approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as a payment aggregator for offline and cross-border payments, in addition to its existing online payment aggregator license.

This enables PPSL to offer end-to-end payment aggregation services across all segments -- online, offline, and cross-border. With this, Paytm now holds payment aggregator licenses across all major payment segments.

In November, One 97 Communications secured the online payment aggregator licence from the RBI.
