Bosch CEO notes rising memory chip prices but says bottlenecks not an issue
Bosch is observing rising prices in memory chips driven by the boom in artificial intelligence but ‌is not concerned about bottlenecks, the German automotive supplier's chief executive said on Wednesday.

"In the coming years, we will likely have to expect significantly ‌higher memory chip prices, and that will affect all of us," CEO Stefan Hartung said, adding that this could be an issue for automated driving technology as ‌well as consumer electronics, where prices were already noticeably higher.

Supply chain bottlenecks, however, were not an issue, Hartung told reporters in Berlin. "These markets are highly efficient," he said.
