Adani One launches cobranded credit cards with ICICI Bank, enters financial services

Adani One, the super app being built by the Ahmedabad-based Adani group has launched a cobranded credit card with private sector lender ICICI Bank.

The card, which will operate on the Visa card scheme, will offer rewards for spends within the Adani ecosystem, the company said in a press release today.

This is the first financial services foray for the Adani group which is a diversified business conglomerate with interests spanning across ports to consumer goods


The card is designed in a way that it will offer a 7% reward on spends incurred within the Adani One app ecosystem for services like train, flight, hotel bookings, Adani-owned airports and Trainman, an online train booking platform.

The card will offer discounts and rewards on duty free shopping, lounge benefits and many such programmes.

The group recently reported Rs 750 crore worth of gross merchandise value (GMV) in 2023-24 through its superapp Adani One. The app offers services like ticket bookings, bill payments, recharges and such.

The company has a target to connect 400 million users via the super app, it said in its Annual Report for FY24.

Cobranded credit cards have emerged as one of the most popular financial services products in recent times. Few of the most successful cobranded partnerships in this space are Amazon-ICICI Bank, Flipkart-Axis Bank and such.
