New Delhi: Digital parenting platform BabyChakra, part of direct-to-consumer (D2C) beauty company The Good Glamm Group, has announced the launch of 14 new baby care products.

The platform aims to generate Rs 100 crore in revenue in the first year. The new products include a baby shampoo, bamboo water-based wipes, hair oil, massage oil, organic coconut oil, and diaper rash cream, the company said.

"At BabyChakra, we believe Indian moms and babies deserve nothing but the very best. We are proud to be India’s 1st babycare brand, which is truly toxin-free, and has no phenoxyethanol and artificial fragrances," said Naiyya Saggi, cofounder of The Good Glamm Group and founder and CEO BabyChakra.

The Good Glamm Group acquired BabyChakra in August 2021, with a plan to invest about Rs. 100 crore in the mom-and-baby content-to-commerce industry over the next three years.

Earlier this year, BabyChakra acquired regional parenting platform Tinystep for an undisclosed sum.

The market for baby care products in India is expected to increase by $10 billion between 2021 and 2025, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 14%, the company said.
