NIIT Tech launches platform for employees to share new ideas

NEW DELHI: IT solutions provider NIIT Technologies has introduced a platform 'Ignite' to encourage its employees to share and evaluate new ideas that will help generate value for company's customers.

The platform is a real-time, interactive, ideation platform, the company said in a statement today.

The new 'Idea' engine is developed for the employees to log in new ideas which can generate value, it added.

"The platform was piloted in a few projects before its introduction. 261 new ideas were generated with 1195 comments resulting in 27 ideas in implementation," it said.

The statement said that the company earlier this year embarked on a major cultural change drive to address the changing expectations of customers. This culture change programme aims to uplift service levels of the company.
