Facebook tops networking, WhatsApp No. 1 IM app in India: Study

More than three-fifths of internet users (61 per cent) in Asia-Pacific and 55 per cent globally are now using instant messaging every day, according to Connected Life, a study of over 60,000 internet users worldwide from global research consultancy TNS. Facebook remains the most popular social networking site in India with 51 per cent users logging on daily while WhatsApp tops the list of instant messaging apps. Here’s a look.
