Buchanan Group launches Hometesterclub.com
Buchanan Group, an independent brand reviewing company has setup an online social network of shoppers called the Hometesterclub.com.
Mr. Sanjeev Singhai, business director – India, Buchanan Group says, “Hometesterclub.com will play an important role in empowering the Indian shopper. It is a place for live unbiased conversations about new grocery products where members can receive and offer live, truthful, authentic insight and information on whether a new grocery product is actually worth buying.”
The site today boasts of more than 10,000 customers and Singhai claims anywhere between 100-200 customers are joining the site daily. Once registered every member stands the chance to receive a free box containing a selection of new products. Customers then answer three questions: 1. Do you like the product? 2. Which three products will you recommend to your friends/family? 3. Rate the product from 1-10? The product rating received from customers is uploaded on the site and stays there forever.
Besides metros people from remote towns are also coming on board and Singhai says WOM has been their biggest driver. The Home Tester Club is currently available in India and South Africa, and will be launched in Australia soon.
