Sound One launches waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker, available for Rs 1,190

Audio devices maker, Sound One has launched a Bluetooth speaker in the Indian market. Named as Shell, the speaker is said to be rugged and waterproof and has been certified IPX5 for that.

It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and said to have a working distance of 10-15 meter which means that you can pair any Bluetooth device like your phone from a pretty good distance.

"Sound One Shell is designed of durable silicon with rubber matte finish that makes it shockproof. It also offers all-around outdoor protection against dust and water," claimed the company in a press release.


It has a 5W speaker, which Sound One says can offer thumping bass and crystal clear sound. "It gets extremely loud at higher volume levels and can be good for small parties."

With a 1200mAh battery, the Sound One Shell claims to offer 4-5 hours back up. It can be fully charged in two hours.

It has TF /USB Max support too.

Sound One Shell is priced at Rs 2,190 but is available now at a special launch offer Rs 1190 for a limited time period. The product carry's a 1-year warranty and will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, and other retail stores.
