Huawei gives away 15 Honor Holly smartphone every hour to mark 15 years in India

NEW DELHI: Huawei Thursday launched an online offer where 15 lucky people could win Honor Holly smartphone every hour between 10 AM to 2 PM over 2 days, to celebrate 15 years of operations in the country.

Huawei would be giving out a total of 120 smartphones over February 5 and February 6 between 10 AM and 2 PM.

“We are excited to complete 15 successful years in India and it would not have been possible without the trust that our consumers have in us,” Allen Wang, president-consumer device business at Huawei, said in a statement.

The company said that the campaign has already received great response with a traffic estimate of around 2100 visitors per minute on the campaign page.

“Enthralled by the idea of winning of the Honor Holly, excited visitors swarmed the campaign page causing the page to crash,” the company said in the statement.

In the very first day of the campaign, there have been over 20000 complete contest registrations in just 4 hours. The company said winners would be announced at the end of both days. The Honor Holly is available exclusively on the Flipkart marketplace and is priced at 6,999.
