Tamil Nadu votes in single phase; Bengal begins Phase 1 polling under tight security
Voting has begun in Tamil Nadu for all 234 Assembly seats and in West Bengal for Phase 1 across 152 constituencies under tight security. With over 5.73 crore voters in Tamil Nadu and 1,478 candidates contesting in West Bengal’s first phase, these high-stakes polls will be counted on May 4.
