Top Flipkart execs to meet customers

BENGALURU: As part of its 10-year celebrations, Flipkart's top executives, including CEO Kalyan Krish namurthy, will hit the ro ad across the country to me et their custo mers in a bid to serve them better.

A company statement said executives who will visit the customers include those from functions like engineering, product, finance and analytics. The company has undertaken similar exercises in the past, especially during sale seasons.

Tier 2 and smaller cities - Patna, Amritsar, Guwahati, Indore, Bhopal, Cut tack, Nashik, Jamnagar and Vijayawada, which are expected to bring in Flipkart's next 100 million customers -will figure on the visit map. As reported by TOI earlier, the company is planning to focus on lifestyle products and large appliances, besides entering segments like groceries and furniture in these areas.

Flipkart is planning to reenter the groceries business after its failed bid last year.Its American rival, Amazon, too has mapped out similar groceries plan in India.
