Portea Medical launches its first advertising campaign
MUMBAI: Portea Medical, one of India’s largest home healthcare companies, has rolled out its first advertising campaign, airing a television commercial on 32 channels across the country.

Conceptualised and executed by Contract Advertising Bangalore, the TV commercial will be supported by print, outdoor and digital advertisements.

“While medical treatment can be obtained in a hospital, it is widely acknowledged that a patient heals best at home, under the care of a home healthcare professional, and around the people that patients are most comfortable with,” said Kavita Chowkimane, GM – marketing at Portea Medical. “Through this campaign, we look forward to reaching out to many more Indian families and continuing to bring care and support to those in need,” she said.

She said Portea has served nearly one lakh patients in the last two and a half years since its launch.

The commercial focuses on the emotional part of a caregiver. Ashish Chakravarty, national creative director at Contract Advertising, said, “We often notice that caregivers become the closest confidants of patients. It’s an unusual relationship that has no name.”

The TVC which went on air on February 1 has been produced by Equinox Films.
