NEW DELHI: Mobile commerce platform Paytm on Thursday announced an online food festival to drive traction for its food category during the festival season.

The company said it tied up with online food ordering platforms such as Zomato, Swiggy, Faasos, Tiny Owl and Holachef, as well as offline quick service restaurants like Pizza Hut, Domino's, Costa Coffee and Vaango for the festival.

Paytm senior Vice President Kiran Vasireddy said in a statement: "By offering widest variety of cuisine along with exceptional deals and discounts to our user base, our objective is to generate greater awareness and traction for food ordering in India."

Paytm, which claims an existing user base of more than 100 million, said the food festival will tap over 20,000 restaurants.
