Uber elevates Vishpala Reddy as the new regional HR director for APAC

NEW DELHI: Vishpala Reddy, currently chief people officer at Uber India and South Asia is being elevated as the new regional HR director for APAC. This is one of the few recent movements within the company. The most recent being Amit Jain who is being elevated as new regional general manager, APAC, from his current position of the president of Uber India and South Asia.

Reddy will now be responsible for APAC region, which will include Australia, New Zealand, and North Asia, in addition to India & South Asia. She would be based in India and will continue to lead India and South Asia operations. "We are not hiring any successor for her," stated a release from the company.

“Vishpala Reddy, currently, Chief People Officer, Uber India and South Asia will be stepping up to as the new Regional HR Director for APAC,” said an Uber Spokesperson.


“My journey at Uber has been truly exceptional. I am now excited at the opportunity to lead the people function across the APAC region," said Reddy.
