Bharat Fritz Werner acquires Proteck's machinery business for Rs 40 crore
BFW, which counts Honda Motors, Amul and Tata Motors as its customers, aims to invest nearly Rs. 100 crore towards expansion.

"The biggest synergy is the frontend customer experience," chief executive Ravi Raghavan said. "Customers need both milling and turning solutions and with Proteck's technology and engineering and our scale the end customer benefits.
BFW counts Honda Group, Tata Motors, Amul Industries and Bharat Heavy Electrical among customers. The company aims at doubling its turnover in the next 3 years, Raghavan said without disclosing revenue numbers. BFW will invest, about 100 crore towards expansion, including through acquisitions, he said.
The company, which financed the deal through debt and internal accruals, will acquire 75 employees.
