Be Clinical, an evidence-led skincare brand focused on clinically effective solutions for ageing skin, has raised Rs. 21 Crore in its Seed round, led by Sauce. The round also saw participation from V3 Ventures (Verlinvest SA) and a group of angel investors, including Mokobara founders Sangeet Agrawal and Navin Parwal; Arjun Purkayastha, SVP & Managing Director for Greater China & North Asia at Reckitt; and Shaunak Chirayu Amin.

Founded by Hemangi Dhir and launched in May 2025 after two years of research and development, Be Clinical is building a skincare brand built around clinically tested formulations, dermatologically active ingredients and an evidence-led approach to addressing ageing concerns. The brand’s products are developed specifically with Indian skin and conditions in mind, with clinical testing undertaken to validate safety and efficacy before products reach consumers. The brand, through its in-house manufacturing, occupies control over the quality and efficacy of its products.

The brand has recorded momentum since its launch, having delivered 1.2 lakh orders and seen good repeats. The early traction reflects growing consumer interest in skincare solutions that combine active ingredients with clinical validation and a focus on measurable results.

The funds raised will be used to support Be Clinical’s next phase of growth, with a focus on product innovation and portfolio expansion. The capital will strengthen research and development capabilities, expand the clinical skincare range, scale manufacturing capacity to meet growing demand, and support expansion into new markets and geographies. The company’s focus will remain on developing clinically tested, transparent and effective skincare solutions that address ageing concerns, while making science-backed skincare more accessible to Indian consumers.

“Longevity is expanding into how people look and feel — and Be Clinical is capturing that shift in personal care through a full-stack model with in-house R&D, manufacturing, and clinically tested formulations. We see this evidence-led approach as a genuine differentiator in the category, and feel this market & demographic is untapped. We're excited to partner with Hemangi & team and back Be Clinical's next phase of growth.” said Zoeb Ali Khan, Vice President at Sauce.

The latest round also reflects continued confidence from existing investors in Be Clinical’s growth trajectory and long-term potential.

"At V3, we are excited to double down on our investment in Be Clinical. We invested 9 months ago and have seen the business grow 5x in sales while still remaining profitable. Anti-aging is an interesting market wedge and, with in house manufacturing we think this company has a real moat for the future. Excited for what's ahead" said Arjun Vaidya, Co-founder and managing partner at V3 Ventures.

Commenting on the fundraise, Hemangi Dhir, Founder, Be Clinical, said, “Getting invested is an incredibly validating moment as a founder. It is a sign that people believe not just in what we have built, but in the problem, we are trying to solve and the scale of the opportunity ahead. For me, the Rs 21 crore we have raised is less about the capital, and more about the responsibility that comes with that belief. It gives us the ability to invest deeper in R&D, strengthen our manufacturing and clinical capabilities, build a stronger team, and take Be Clinical to more consumers across India. We started with a very clear conviction-that ageing deserves to be approached with science, evidence and honesty-and this investment gives us the opportunity to take that conviction much further. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust, but I’m even more excited about what we can build with it.”
