EURO WEAKENS AGAINST US DOLLAR
The euro slipped on Monday, extending its biggest weekly decline in more than two months as markets judged the single currency's double-digit gains this year may be too much for a central bank that is still wary of removing stimulus. The single currency fell 0.17 per cent to $1.1740 against the U.S. dollar, after weakening 0.5 per cent last week, its biggest weekly decline since June. 9, according to Reuters data.

PC JEWELLER TAKES WINNING STREAK TO 5TH SESSION, JUMPS 4%

BROKERAGES DOWNGRADE INFOSYS
Several brokerages downgraded Infosys shares after the resignation of chief executive officer Vishal Sikka. With Sikka no longer at the helm, brokerages said the exit has cast a shadow on the company's performance in the near to medium term and may even put the guidance for FY18 at risk.

US STOCKS ENDED LOWER ON FRIDAY
US stocks lost ground late to end lower on Friday following a White House-focused week that raised more questions about the Trump administration's ability to implement its pro-growth agenda, Reuters reported. The Dow Jones Industrial Average index fell 76.22 points, or 0.35 per cent, to close at 21,674.51. The S&P500 index lost 4.46 points, or 0.18 per cent, to 2,425.55.
