Caffeine-infused shaving cream instead of coffee, to remove morning laziness, anyone?
Mornings are getting more harried and with this idea you can shave off those few minutes in making coffee and will be able to perk up those sleepy muscles too.

Mornings are getting more harried, which has already prompted an array of time-saving if not entirely logical suggestions like downing a glass of juice to obviate the need to assemble and eat an entire breakfast, for instance.
But the one thing that seems indispensable to the start of a workday is that steaming caffeine fix to perk up those sleepy muscles. And that means spending quite a few precious minutes to put together the concoction — or decoction, as the south Indians would prefer.
So, caffeinated shaving creams — which don’t smell of coffee but pack the same amount of caffeine as a bottle of cola — now provide the means to shave off even those few minutes from the morning rituals, as indeed do experimental caffeine-dispensing toothbrushes and toothpastes.
Of course, the sheer sensual pleasure of downing a steaming, aromatic cuppa cannot be replicated by slathering cream on stubbly chins or paste on ivories. But that can always be compensated by more traditional caffeine ingestion later on in the day. The moot question is whether we at all need to speed up mornings by telescoping age-old rituals.
