'If you betray our warriors...': Hegseth unveils Pentagon-DOJ joint taskforce to hunt press leaks
The Trump administration has launched a new crackdown on unauthorized leaks, with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announcing a joint Pentagon-Department of Justice task force to identify and prosecute those accused of disclosing sensitive information to the media. In a video posted on X, Hegseth said the Pentagon's Office of General Counsel has been given expanded authority to investigate media leaks across the Department of War.
