'Legal migrant shot by ICE!': Colombian work permit holder's encounter sparks protests across Maine
A fatal encounter involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has sparked widespread protests in Biddeford, Maine. According to authorities, a 26-year-old Colombian man was killed during an encounter with federal immigration agents on July 13. Advocacy groups say the man was legally authorized to work in the United States and had a Social Security number.
