Cabinet may give nod to Feb 1 as Budget day
The Cabinet is likely to approve changing the British-era legacy of presenting the Union Budget on the last day of February and may settle on February 1 to unveil the financial statement, even though the government is having to factor in elections to five states while considering the change.
