The breadth of the sponsor roster reflects how the WPL has moved beyond its early years as an emerging property to become a platform that offers scale, credibility and sustained audience engagement. Traditional categories such as FMCG, beverages and consumer technology continue to back the league, while newer segments, including fintech and payments, electric vehicles, jewellery retail and even artificial intelligence have expanded their presence this season.
The move signals growing confidence among advertisers in women’s cricket as a premium media property with long-term potential. Brands are increasingly seeking deeper associations rather than one-off visibility, betting on the league’s ability to deliver consistent reach.
Anup Govindan, Head - Sports Sales, JioStar said, “WPL 2026 marks a clear inflection point for women’s cricket, both in terms of scale and commercial intent. Brands today are looking beyond short-term visibility to build deeper, long-term associations and WPL offers a compelling platform that delivers scale, high engagement and strong connect.
