Chennai Super Kings have resigned Rachin Ravindra for Rs 4 crore in the in the IPL 2025 auction on Sunday at Jeddah.

The New Zealand all-rounder was first bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 3.2 crore, but CSK used the RTM and the bid was increased to Rs 4 crore to which CSK agreed.



The rising star from New Zealand had performances in the 2023 ODI World Cup and his recent exploits in the India series, Ravindra has become a highly sought-after name among franchises.


Ravindra's adaptability to Indian conditions has been evident. In the 2023 ODI World Cup, he delivered consistent performances that demonstrated his composure under pressure. More recently, during the Test series against India, Ravindra played a match-winning knock on a challenging turning track at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
