Champions Trophy: From Shane Watson to Sanath Jayasuriya, here are players with most ducks

Champions Trophy 2025 is set to begin on February 19. There have been several match-winning knocks in the tournament across the eight editions but there have also been repeated disappointing performances from some of the best players the sport has seen.

The names with most duck in the Champions Trophy include Australian batter Shane Watson and Sri Lanka's Sanath Jayasuriya.

Players with most ducks in Champions Trophy

Shane Watson: In 17 Champions Trophy matches for Australia, Watson registered four ducks. However, he has scored 463 runs with an average of 41.


Habibul Bashar: Former Bangladeshi batter Bashar played five Champions Trophy matches and did three ducks in those. In total, Bashar scored 48 runs and with a dismal average of 9.

Nathan Astle: New Zealand batter Astle failed to open his account thrice in 13 Champions Trophy matches. He scored 344 runs and had a highest score of 145 not out.

Shoaib Malik: The former Pakistani all-rounder also has three ducks, but has played 20 matches. He has scored 380 runs at an middling average of 23.

Sanath Jayasuriya: With three scores of zero in 20 matches, former Sri Lanka legend Sanath Jayaruiya also makes the list. He has scored 536 runs in the Champions Trophy.
