Any attempt to stop Pak's share of water will be treated as act of war: Shehbaaz Sharif at UNGA
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a strong warning during his address to the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), saying any attempt to stop, impede or divert Pakistan’s share of Indus River waters would be treated as an “act of war.” He also said water should not be weaponised and criticised India’s decision to hold the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance.
