BJP will hold 20,000 small sabhas through shakti kendra's, where crimes against women, 'mental harassment' of NCB officials involved in drug search and state government's 'encouragement' to organisations like the Raza Academy will be highlighted, they said. BJP has accused the academy of triggering violence in Malegaon, Amravati and Nanded in protest against violence in Tripura.
"Atrocities against women, corruption, drugs issue, the Aryan Khan case, where an attempt is made to break the system by Nawab Malik who gets up every day and rakes up allegations of caste certificate... speaks about the background of family... This is a planned attempt to mentally crush the system," state BJP chief Chandrakant Patil said.
He said BJP has planned a mega rally in Mumbai in December for the 'final battle' against the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. While the BJP officially did not say the allegations will be election issues, party insiders said the party would raise it for next year's local polls. Twenty-three municipal corporations, 300 nagar panchayats and municipal councils and 290 panchayat samitis will go to polls next year.
Several resolutions were passed at the state executive meet, including a ban on the Raza Academy and against criminalisation of politics.
